ParaExperinents are learning to enhance our current equipment with what we may have laying around. use your imagination! In my hand you see a microphone, inside an odd looking  housing. That is actually flashgun from a 1940's era press camera! I hollowed it out, and a quality hand held mic slips inside. It works as a type of parabolic and greatly helps in catching EVPs. it is hooked to one of my Zoom H4N 4 track recorders, and has proved its worth in the field!
